There is also this problem with notifying of changes made via e-mail:
All it takes is a few people that either by accident or on purpose, mark that e-mail as a phishing scam. It can and does happen. That puts the address used to send those e-mails on a 'blacklist'. Preventing them from using that e-mail address to send notifications. The company either has to prove they are not guilty of phishing, or create a new address. That could explain why the user here helping with refunds is using the Gmail host instead of the company address. It is obvious that there are people unhappy with their expierience with GMT. And unfortunately, we as humans have a strong drive for revenge when we feel wronged. I for one have been guilty of that in my life. Revenge is a strong motivator. I think by using the Gmail host is a safety measure so they can help with refunds and in case someone does report the address as a source of a phishing scam, the company can still conduct their buisness via their host. PLEASE NOTE: The comments I made regarding their use of Gmail is my opinion. I have no proof as to the reason for the Gmail address. I only have proof that they ARE helping peopl
