googlemoney is easy

Let's see, now I am a pot stirrer, hater and a moron, did I interpret your remarks correctly ItsEasyToFixThis? The name-calling always starts when one cannot reply with facts.

So, why the moniker? If you truly are a representative of the company, as you claim, why not use your real name and contact info? After all you just want to help people get refunds that the company's customer service department, for some strange reason, cannot manage to handle; but magically can only be done here.

Company reps don't come on Scam.com to do business providing refunds, and hide behind an anonymous moniker. As for me PMing those who have claimed you helped them here, how is that going to prove anything? Of course they are going to say you helped them get a refund. They have already said it on this forum. But that does not make them real, and their story real. If being a moron means that I am to believe this pap that has been presented here as true without real disclosure, then I am a moron.

Want to prove me wrong, then give your name, title, company telephone number where YOU can be reached, and your company E-mail address. For if you don't, then why should anyone believe you? I mean you can prove you do work for Google Money Tree, and have a real title and contact information. Right?

GOOGLE MONEY FOR EVER

hehe, these posts have been quite fun to read.

GMT hasn't done anything really wrong but their "rep" on here is kinda a dick, right? Calling them dumb and threatening a lawsuit for a blog. Ha, that will be the day you can't sue Pirate Bay for downloading software but you are gonna sue a blogger for being pissed? People are upset they got tricked by all the flashing lights same as those that bought into Scamway I mean Amway/Quixtar International or whatever they decided to change their name to.

But if you actually bought this then hey I got swamp land in FL to sell ya. Come on people there is a simple rule if it sounds too good to be true than it is. You have the world at your fingertips and you can't say you didn't have the ability to research it you were already in front of the computer! BBB has these things on their site 90% of the time. Stop falling for these ridiculous things and maybe one day these marketing geniuses will make a legit product that someone can sell someday. Until then good luck hopefully you can find a real job in this market but it seems like there are a ton of openings for the sales department at pipe manufacturing places.

BEWARE of Google Money Tree

after agreeing to pay the postage for a packet of information in which GMT called me, I discovered that I was now also on the hook for the $72/month. I was shocked and felt very vulnerable because I had also just given my credit card number. I checked out the website given to me and was disappointed that it was just more marketing of internet ideas... and also realized that it had nothing to do with Google at all.
I found this (SCAM.COM) website that same night and also pm'd "ITSEASYTOFIXTHIS" with no response. However to be fair, first thing next day I called and cancelled so he could have checked it and confirmed my cancellation and felt that there was no need to followup however, my cancellation was too late to stop the shipment... although my suspicion based on the misleading sales practices makes me wonder if this was true.... anyway... to be fair, the person who took my call was polite and gave me my confirmation number for the cancellation without any issues.
On Saturday morning I received a call from the same person but claiming to be from "Googletel". I told him I wasn't interested in anything from his company (firmly but politely) and hung up. There is no point in him wasting his time or mine on this call.

IMHO GMT operates in the gray zone of internet businesses. The service it provides are of questionable value and the sales practices are very misleading. For that reason I think it should be termed a scam. There is not a clear presentation of the program and its benefits and the consideration that will be paid for the benefit.
Anyway, I will not waste any more time on this company. Life is short and I've learned a valuable lesson.

There is also this problem with notifying of changes made via e-mail:
All it takes is a few people that either by accident or on purpose, mark that e-mail as a phishing scam. It can and does happen. That puts the address used to send those e-mails on a 'blacklist'. Preventing them from using that e-mail address to send notifications. The company either has to prove they are not guilty of phishing, or create a new address. That could explain why the user here helping with refunds is using the Gmail host instead of the company address. It is obvious that there are people unhappy with their expierience with GMT. And unfortunately, we as humans have a strong drive for revenge when we feel wronged. I for one have been guilty of that in my life. Revenge is a strong motivator. I think by using the Gmail host is a safety measure so they can help with refunds and in case someone does report the address as a source of a phishing scam, the company can still conduct their buisness via their host. PLEASE NOTE: The comments I made regarding their use of Gmail is my opinion. I have no proof as to the reason for the Gmail address. I only have proof that they ARE helping peopl

Google Money Masters

I was online and saw the add about the google money masters. I clicked on it. I went through the first process, and it said that I was eligible. So, it took me to the next step. That was when I had to enter financial information. I figured google, it had to be legit, and at a $1.88 or $1.87, I was looking for a way to earn extra money. My credit cards didn't have very much credit, but I figured I had at least the requested amount. I put in the information, then it said that I was ineligible. So, I thought that it was because of the card. So, I did it again. Same results. I used another card. Same results. I figured again because I was right at maxed out, that why it said I was ineligible. So, I used my debit card because I knew I had the money on that, but it still said ineligible. So, I said oh well. Today, June 12, 2009 I received a call at 12:37 p.m. EST from 515-4258 (no area code). The girl told me welcome to goolge money masters. I told her that I didn't think that it worked because it said that I was ineligible. She said well it must not be so because I have your information. I said ok. I asked her what was her job. She said she is to welcome the new member. I said that I was glad to be apart of the group. I said for a $1.88. She said that amount was only for 7 days. Each month it would be $68.21 or $39.00. I was like what? I can't afford that. She said I can give you a number to call to discuss it with someone. She told me the number was 866-248-9285. I told her ok. I tried to call the number. I didn't go through at all. No I am back online and seeing that this is possibly a scam.

The Simple Truth

Good for you! I could care less what your company does as far as notifying their customers of policy changes. And you were not here on this post before many of the posts here that were spam, were removed. You didn't get to see who was here looking for a "fight". All I and others here were doing was pointing out the flaws about the subject at hand. Instead of getting a useful response, we were bombarded with threats and insults. I have seen many of those posts removed from this forum. So you do not have the full picture here. But yet you decided that I am looking for a fight. Not true. On the other hand, posting comments about someone here without first reading the posts, starting at page one, or having the full picture isn't helpful either. Also, not every company in existance conducts their buisness on the internet. Those companies, such as mine, notifies customers of such changes via U.S. postal service. In my case, ALL terms and Conditions are printed on EVERY receipt and on EVERY news letter my company sends out. Perhaps the last post I made regarding that was not worded correctly. I accept that. And you must know by now that not ALL companies notify customers of those changes. It is their choice. What wall??!?? If people come here, notice they can get help, they can contact the person helping. How am I or anyone else for that matter, keeping them from doing so?? The user helping people has posted the contact info for those people. I am not telling them not to contact them. I was not spamming this forum in the past, trying to hide negative comments about the company this forum is dealing with. The user that is helping people and I have agreed to a cease fire on our past disagreements because it was hampering the efforts of that user to help. I am not here to fight anyone. But when a post is made, like yours, by someone that either doesn't have the entire truth, or has not read the previous posts made, I will comment back.

Answer this, Let's pretend that you found this site after you felt wronged by the company. You then start reading the posts made here. Then you come across the posts from the user saying that they are here to help. They posted the information that you would need to contact them and said they can help with a refund. After reading that information, WHAT posts of mine are preventing you from contacting that user for help??!!!?? WHICH ONE??? If you wanted help, you would contact that person. Not me. It would not matter what ANY other user posted here. You have the information you need to pursue a refund. No other comment would have any impact on that.

BEWARE of Google Money Tree

I happen to own one of those companies that e-mails updates to our members / customers. This is a courtesy that takes approximately three minutes monthly. We simply attach the update to our newsletters and with a simple click of the "send" button off it goes to thousands of customers. This service and many others that we provide is called professional integrity. The reason that this unimaginable to you is because we live in world that accepts the bitter pill of poor customer service all too often. You don't have to accept the fact that companies will not notify you when the contractual landscape changes. It is your choice. You can demand more from them or accept ultimately what you will question later. There is wording that can be used to show "good faith" on the company's part and there is also another notification process called RSS. Neither happens to be used here.

Just for the record, I do believe that part of the reason for the quarreling and slow progress in resolve on this topic is due in large part to you. You are clearly looking for a fight. My research extends way beyond simple Googling. I am not here to defend myself to you. I am a customer service research specialist who has been in business consulting to some of the most successful corporations in the world for approximately 21 years. I'm not looking for a pat on the back either. I just happen to be very well versed on these laws and the realistic expectations you should have as a consumer. I thought maybe we could start to change the way corporations do business with us by using simple dialogue to get there. It is obvious to me that you are not here in a productive capacity. I will not stroke your ego either. No fight here, just wanted to offer some advice to those who thought they may have still been 'hitting a wall' with this issue or others like it.

BTW, I am not selling anything either. I was just hoping to help with information and the simple truth.

You get out of life what you put into it.

BEWARE of Google Money Tree

Easytofixthis' help is appreciated. Though I contacted my credit card company and they refunded my money pending investigation. I explained that I did not authorize the 72.21 amount which I believe I did not.
I noticed that after I posted my first post and became hostile, they have changed their refund policy as of 2/10/09.I find this a bit curious simply because they were adamant about the fact that I was not eligible to any type of refund after the 7 day period no matter how much I called and complained and I was not going to be able to speak to any supervisors. Unlike so many other companies it is not 7 business days it is 7 actual days which I think they realized is not enough time for anyone to look at the program nor get the CD. I wonder if the FTC got involved. I don't believe it is a scam neccessarily I did believe the previous policy and attitude of the customer service reps was very bad business practice however. I am not sure how they expect to spread a good name for themselves with the way they were doing things. Maybe that's why it was changed.
